WAG Selection contests

On this page you will find a list of presently registered selection contests for the aeromodelling events.

3 classes will be flown at WAG 2009:

• AeroMusicals (indoor) - CIAM Class F6B, sub-class A
• Artistic Aerobatics (airplanes & helicopters) - CIAM Class F6A (former F6A + F6C)
• Hand Thrown Gliders - CIAM Class F6D

Artistic Aerobatics - Final round compulsory music

For National and International selection contests in Belgium, Italy, France, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Switzerland , the selected compulsory music to be used during the final round is music piece # 2. Prepared from public domain music components, this music may be freely downloaded from there

RULES FOR THE WORLD AIR GAMES

The World Air Games 2009 shall be held in accordance with the relevant provisions in the FAI Statutes and By-Laws, FAI Sporting Code, Rules and local regulations applied by FAI.

World Air Games General Rules
All Air Sport Events included in the Event Program of the World Air Games are conducted in accordance with the guidelines provided by the World Air Games General Rules (Subject to CASI approval on 11 October 2007 / pdf / 70 Kb).

Competition Rules
The FAI Air Sport Commissions are responsible for developing Competition Rules and Local Regulations, including task descriptions and rules for selecting athletes, for each individual Air Sport Event at the World Air Games.
